Magnet on iPhone 12 Pro Max - Does it do any Damage to Watches?

Does anyone know if the new iPhone 12 Pro Max Magnet//s affects fine Watches like Rolex and other fine mechanical time pieces? Even if the harm to time keeping is minimal?? Thanks :)

If your watch is not particularly designed to be amagnetic, I would not trust the iPhone 12 series near a mechanical watch.

Hey Thanks! Just that I seen a lot of things on the internet about how it can affect the accuracy of time keeping. Guess it is all just fake news and the magnet isn't that strong.

Thanks. My watch is a Rolex Deepsea ref 126660 - so I think it is anti magnetic. Still apprehensive though as Im sure many people are in the same regard...
