I am sure my MacBook is infected by a virus. How can I get rid off it ?

I am sure my MacBook is infected by a virus. How can I get rid off it ?

Are you sure you have an virus? Usually if you have an virus your laptop would be slower, Battery would be hotter, battery will also drain faster. Check to also see unknown files. I personally use an Windows 10 OS so I'm not sure how MacOS can scan for HDD/SSD for changes.

There are no active virus on the Mac platform.
OMG thank you so much for your help. My laptop wasn't slower and I got no battery problems either. but the like helped me :)
Glad it helped Macs have built in anti-virus but if your Mac acts wonky one day make sure to check Your programs and files.
