I went into Settings>Cellular>Voice and Data to turn 5G off, but there is no reference to 5G there, only LTE and 3G. I want to be sure that my phone is, indeed 5G compatible. My carrier is Consumer Cellular. Could this be because they don't offer 5G, or should I be concerned that I see no reference to 5G on my iPhone?

Contact your carrier and ask them. And no, 5G won't appear if your carrier hasn't it or if you didn't subscribe to a 5G cellular plan.

When a phone is activated on a network the network installs a carrier settings file on the phone. This file defines what switches appear in Settings/Cellular, in addition to setting up the APN settings for cellular data.
Your carrier does not support 5G.
I know that. Is this why there is no reference to 5G in the location that I shared?
