MacOS Notes becomes unresponsive over time



Anyone else know why MacOS Notes becomes unresponsive if you leave it open for hours at a time?

I've been having this problem in Mojave, Catalina and now Big Sur on two different MBPs two different IDs.

Description of problem

I leave Notes open and over time (a few hours/overnight) a note will stop responding to text input, the checklist won't toggle, copy/paste will not work correctly. Sometimes if I open the note in a new window it will allow me to edit, but the note that displays in the main window is still unresponsive.

Current Solution

I have to quit out of Notes and relaunch to get it work the way its supposed to.

Don't know if this is a bug or isolated issue.
