monitor calibration

I have an iMac 27 "and use the X Rite i1Display Pro to calibrate the monitor. After the upgrade to Big Sur calibrating the monitor the colors are completely unreal. First never had problems

Major problem of color calibration since months , need help. Hi friends , my monitor is samsung SA300 , I have been editing on it since 10 years now , I have two OS on two separate hard discs that use the same monitor, on one I have mountain lion and on another I have Sierra , both have fcpx , have the same ICC profile / colour profile selected on both the systems and the monitor settings remain the same .... but I don't know why colours on both the OS are completely different , with mountain lion I get colour close to perfect but on sierra everything is unreal and misleading , I have calibrated both the monitor with the inbuilt software too, both have same icc profile , in both monitor setting remains same .... but since I do not see anything else on the OS with which I can manipulate colour , brightness and contrast , I have not been able to understand how to get colours on sierra close to real or at least like on my mountain lion , what can be the possible reason of this difference and what can I do to assure similar colors on sierra too... plz help.

iMac monitor displaying two different colors instead of one when solid colors are used on websites. I took a screenshot of what I'm experiencing when visiting websites with background colors for their content modules. I see two different colors displayed. The actual color of the website pictured in the screenshot is the darker red but the display shows a brighter color as well and there is a clear deliniation. This happens across the board with all colors and not just red. I was wondering what is causing this issue and can it be fixed by me or do I need to have the iMac checked by Apple?

MacOS Catalina and connected monitor brightness changes with Final Cut Pro X Hi all, I've been editing on Final Cut Pro X for years with an external monitor connected to my MacBook Pro. No problems. When I updated my MacBook Pro to MacOS Catalina my monitor does something weird with the brightness settings while editing in Final Cut. It automatically adjusts the brightness of the monitor, which results in dimming the brightness and then dialing the brightness up again. It seems to does so whenever I view different shots (that's kinda the whole point in editing that you're viewing shots, right). This totally messes up my focus on editing and I can't do color correction on that external monitor: I have no reference whatsoever. Before updating to Catalina I never had this problem. To be totally clear: this does not happen on the MacBook Pro monitor, but to the externally connected LG 32UD99-W - 4K IPS HDR Monitor I have been using for over a year now. Does anybody else have this problem? And more importantly, have a solution to this bug? I've tried adjusting the monitor settings: turning high dynamic range off, scaling, color profiles. Also deselecting the automatic video card selection of the MBPro. Installed an app called MonitorControl to adjust the brightness of the external monitor. Nothing seems to work. Check with X Rite and verify if their tools are Big Sur compatible.
