Poor 4k Quality

I have an LG 4k CX OLED TV which has Apple TV + app. When I try to stream movies that note they are 4k with HDR/Dolby Vision support, my TV notifies me if it is HDR/Dolby Vision content, but the actual picture quality is terrible. If I pop in the Blu Ray from when we received the digital copies, the Blu Ray disc has better picture quality. 4k content on Netflix and Disney + are vastly superior. Is there a setting I forgot to adjust or missed for this app to explain the subpar picture quality?

Did you ever find a fix for this?

have the same problem i think, the picture quality looks like its about 320p content on mine and can only find a setting to restrict it to SDTV quality.

also tried running the app on an xbox one x, here the quality seems to run between 720p and 1080p, not near the level of quality on netflix and disney+

Shame the link Karina provided was for a apple TV 4k unit, our app is build-in to the tv itself
