Filter on front camera?

I am not sure if it just my phone but I notice the front camera smoothens out my skin, like there is a beauty mode on it.

has anyone else noticed this? I just bought the phone 2 days ago and I thought the camera was supposed to be amazing but the pictures look so overexposed and not clear, both front and back pictures!

is this just my phone?

Front camera not working For some reason, the front camera on my iPhone is green like there is a filter on it, but there isn't. Whenever I use my front camera on Facetime, Snapchat, or Instagram the green filter is there and I can't take it out.
