The right side of my iPhone 5se has lost touchscreen ability and I need to change the passcode to open it. I know the old passcode but some of the digits are on the right side of the screen. The 1st and 2nd rows work fine, so I have my iCloud account open but can't find how to change the phone's passcode from there.
You can't change the password by using iTunes or iCloud.
Pretty sure you will have to get a screen replacement if you want to secure your phone data. Not 100% certain that will fix any underlying fault either but your best shot.

Yes that will probably cure the problem, but I was hoping I could simply change the passcode to a number sequence that only used the left and mid section of the screen since only the right side is not working. Do I need to have iTunes installed on my PC? I can connect my iPhone to my laptop and it's recognized but there's nothing showing on my PC to indicate it's connected to the phone. What am I doing wrong?
