Anyone else had their iPad made totally unusable by pairing the new pencil?
Touch screen dead - even after wipe and restore.

Impressive. So after finally managing to force a full factory reset, it is still impossible to restore or even set up the iPad manually, as the touch screen is totally unresponsive. This was perfect before coming into contact with the apple pencil Mk2. Not happy.

They they just asked to go through the steps we had already carried out. Were unable to resolve the issue. Advised that it would have to be returned / taken to a store.
The pencil itself is a separate conversation with sales. They were supposed to call back regarding its return, but failed to do so.
Apple care +, afraid not. Past products have been rock solid reliable.
I am just intrigued as to how this can happen, as surely, it is a conflict or software corruption? I would expect a complete system restore as a new device to overcome this.
