How do i upgrade my Ipad

I have an Ipad 4th Generation model A1460 it tells me my system is up-to-date with ios 10.3.4 i want to up date it to ios 12 is this possible please.

I have tried upgrading it through the latest itunes but it just keep coming back to me telling me i am up to date.

Is this possible or is the ipad now too old but i dont have any problems running any other apps

Your ipad it old if iTunes is telling you the ipad is up to date already. You'll need to buy a newer ipad.

Your iPad model is too old, now.

Sorry.

If you need/want an iPad with an up to date iPadOS with access to current, updated apps, then you really need to seriously consider a new iPad model OR a much “newer” , used iPad model capable of running the latest iPadOS versions.

There are plenty of newer, older iPad models that can run the latest, current versions of iPadOS.

Sorry & Best of Luck to You!
