Importing Video from SD Card Not Enough Space

When I try to import video from an SD card to Photos using an SD card reader, I can import small files like photos, but videos will intermittently tell me that I do not have enough space on my iPad when I absolutely do. I have over 50GB remaining.

It says “Not Enough Space Available” and then “This iPad does not have enough free space to import any photos.”

Image import storage issue Hi, I’m having issues importing a larger selection of images from my camera to my iPad 6th gen. The issue is not effected if I use the SD card reader or usb connected to a camera. If I select more than around 20 raw images the iPad says I don’t have enough space even though it says in settings that I use less than half of the 128 GB. If I import images in sets of 20 images at a time I can do this for a total of hundreds of pictures even if the iPad doesn’t have any time to offload to iCloud, so obviously the storage isn’t full. I don’t remember this being an issue during my first year with the iPad and it is now consistent since a year back through several iOS updates. Any ideas of what I can do about this very annoying issue? Btw, the same issue completely blocks me from importing longer video sequences. thanks /Carl

Not Enough Space Available I'm trying to upload video from a micro SD card to my iPad Pro. The error message says: "Not Enough Space Available. Importing requires 1.3 GB more space. Select fewer items or make more space available by removing videos, photos, or songs." The problem is that I have plenty of space on my iPad (466 GB according to iPad Storage) and 2 TB in the cloud. I don't recall this happening before updating to 13.4.1. Apple Support surprisingly was no help. Any solutions out there?

iPad Storage Issue I am trying to download photos to my iPad (using an SD card adapter), importing to my photo library. I have the 256GB 5th Generation Mini. It keeps telling me that I do not have enough storage space to download the photos and I need to delete some to make room. However when checking my iPad storage I have only used 56GB of storage on the iPad. In addition, I have 2TB of storage in iCloud, my photo library automatically uploads to the Cloud when needed and that is only 1/4 used. So I don't understand why I keep getting this message and it's driving me crazy. I use Lightroom on the go on the iPad to edit photos more quickly when needed and this is seriously interrupting my workflow. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!
