iOS 14.2 update renders iPhone 7 useless.

Well, I have had a couple of other iPhone models earlier and never encountered this problem either. But the fact is that I do now, and have no way of figuring this out. While doing my search in order to fix the issue, I realized that this problem is more widespread than you would think. There are numerous videos on youtube about this and they have tens of thousands of clicks. I doubt they are all doing it for fun, because they have nothing better to do. If you read the comments there you will see that not only just how common this problem is, but also how helpless people feel after they have paid enormous amounts of cash for a product that cannot be fixed, returned (in many countries anyway), or refunded. Apple is losing customers for sure, and I am definitely one of them.
