Where do get concrete Support?
Hi at all,
I am really upset with the Apple company.
I really need support with my iCloud account, since none of my iDevices are sync with each other. All answers I get from official support at apple.com are stu*id check-back-questions, standardized Off-On toggle-suggestions, or kindly asking me to logout and login again.
I have no opportunity to introduce my problems to some experienced staff, in favor to might get it fixed finally.
My Problems are the following:
- Shortcuts stays on each device, and are not syncing with iPhone/iPad/Apple Watch. e.g. created shortcut on iPhone won't show up on iPad. Nor on Apple Watch, even if "Show on Apple Watch" is toggled on. Then at some point shortcuts are going to sync to each device, which gives me headaches of doubled shortcuts and deleting doubled ones, figuring out obsolete Shortcuts and so on. If some shortcut found its way to my Watch, it throws errors like "SSL error occurred." even if no SSL is involved in this shortcut. I really gave up on Shortcuts, and made my way with home-assistant
- I also got reasonable doubts about the accuracy of the Health app, since my steps, stairs etc are kind of doubled up, because having my iPhone inside my pants pocket and wearing Apple Watch at the same time. e.g. Health-App counts 500 Steps in the morning, until I jump into the car to get to work. Thats way enormous amount, and should more be near 150-200 steps. Furthermore I do get 'Archivment-Unlocked' Notifications, when I am sitting in the living room, watching TV. - „Hurray, you reached you daily goal" - Uhm, I didn't moved since 45 minutes, but thanks?
Since these features are getting more popular I do get more frustrated it won't work for me.
But lets remain on the Watch:
- „Unlock Macbook/iMac with Apple Watch"- rarely works.
- I may wiggle my wrist on front of the computers, on the back, on the side. - Nope. In 8 of 10 Cases Macintosh will force password input to unlock from hibernation.
- More suspicious is the fact that I do get shown a way obsolete email-address when directly get in the FindMyDevice website. There it tells me to use some email which I used more than 10 years back, and is not even registered at all (some topleveldomain).
- Lately my brand new iPhone 12 mini went across the river when Restoring it from iCloud at the initial setup. Had to DFU-Restore to get it back to life and selected to setup a new device ahead.
- One Windows-PC is showing up as iPhone in my Device-List and doesn't get synced with iCloud Drive at all.
There are more minor 'bugs' I do encounter in daily life, which I don't remember right know, because not that urgent to me. Above listed are the most critical points to me.
What I already did, was to delete all my devices off my iCloud-Account and re-added them, one after another. That heals my problem temporarily. After the next iOS/WatchOS it is in a mess again.
..And of course all the official supported answers, which had no effects at all.
I already had two official Case-ID with appointment of tech staff. Well.. The appointment has been held, with collecting logs of my devices while reproduce the misbehavior. One in Jan. '20, another one in Jun. '20. Both different Cases, with similar complaint. - No answers until yet.
Annoying thing is that I was told to change my Apple ID, which was registered to my current owned topleveldomain. Now I have to use some @iCloud.com-ID, and have no opportunity to have change it back to my owned tld.
Cheers,
Tobi
