WiFi calling issue

I just switched to Straight Talk from AT&T’s FirstNet. My WiFi calling worked great with AT&T

I can enable it from the menu and as soon as I back out of the menu or close settings it immediately turns off. I spent almost three hours with the carrier support team trying a multitude of things for them finally to say that their end was good and it must be an Apple issue. I’m struggling to believe this is an Apple issue.

Any thoughts or ideas? I am nowhere near close to an Apple store to let someone look at it.

Hello TylerWessel,

We're happy to help you with the Wi-FI calling issue you're having. First, follow the steps here to restart the iPhone:

Restart your iPhone

We also need to confirm that the software version on the iPhone is current. Follow the steps here to check and update if needed:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Also, if you have any emergency info stored, the address saved must be identical to the address that the post office has on file. Any misspellings could lend to this issue you're having.

If this trouble persists, get in touch with Apple Support for further assistance:

We hope this helps you.

Good luck!
