How do I get my AOL.com email backed up to the icloud? Only email currently backed up is my icloud.com email.

Your emails, particularly iCloud, aren't considered a part of the backup as they are already stored in iCloud. This is what iCloud backs up --What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support.
