I have just bought a new I pad and it’s asking me to put in my apple i d verification code which I receive on my phone to type into the iPad .
after entering the new code which is correct t it won’t let me go any further .

I set up a new iPad yesterday. I used the scan code method. It asked me to bring my iPhone near the iPad and did a lot of stuff automatically. Is there a reason you are not using that method?
