Iphone 12 Lens Flare?
I was taking sunset pictures and noticed mirror image of the sun. Looks like its lens flare? Is this an issue with the hardware? Anyone facing similar issues ? Apple, can this be fixed ?

Yes, this is a hardware issue, and Apple will not acknowledge it. It is a lens design flaw.
It is not a lens design flaw, it is normal for all high end smart phone cameras.
For example, Samsung acknowledges the issue as well, and here's a photo from a Google Pixel 2:
If you feel that way, return your device for a refund.
As mentioned, other phone cameras do the same thing, so you'd best avoid any phone cameras from Google, Huawei or Samsung as well, as it's trivial to find examples of the exact same lens flare taken with those manufacturers' phone cameras.
There are multiple ways to control and minimise lens flare and it is extremely obvious that Apple has neglected to implement any.
