iPhone lens flare/ghosting/reflection

I know that lens glare are supposed to be expected. However, may I ask if the lens glare of this scale are supposed to be normal? If not, then I may need to check with Apple on this.

Hi there gunthorn1138,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. That does indeed look like lens flare. Lens flare can happen on any camera. It is caused from light reflecting off the internal parts of the camera. You can change the angle of your photos or shield the camera with your hand to keep it from happening. This article explains: If you see a flare, haze, or spot near the edge of your photo or video.

Have a great day!
