Hey there HeShootsHeScores,
We understand you've been unable to open the install file for this application on your new MacBook Pro. It gives an error about permissions. We'll be happy to help.
To begin, we'd recommend starting with the steps here: Open a Mac app from an unidentified developer
This will guide you through a specific way to open the install file that may allow it launch.
However, if this is a managed Mac for something like school or work, you may need to reach out to the IT or admin department for assistance.
We hope this helps. Cheers!

HeShootsHeScores,
Thanks for the update and letting us know you have a Mac with Apple Silicon.
To install and use Rosetta, we'd recommend checking out the steps here: If you need to install Rosetta on your Mac
If for any reason that does not work, you may need to contact the app developer or continue working with Apple Support.
Cheers!
HeShootsHeScores,
You should be prompted to install Rosetta 2 when you try to open an app built only for Mac computers with an Intel processor.
You would see a prompt like the first image the link from the previous message. If that is not working, definitely keep working with Apple on this. You can use this link: Get Support
Take Care!
Jdo_Apple,
Thanks! Do you know where i can download Rosetta 2? With the other Apple tech, i think that's where we left it. They said that the App requires Rosetta 2, and that the SW Manuf didn't package it with their install. Net of it was App requires Rosetta 2, but i can't get the source to install it.
The SW Manuf wasn't able to say anything other then they are working on a fix for AutoCad on Apple Silicon
Any thoughts?
Hi Nicholas_B2
Thanks for the response. Tried this on advice from AAPL support and it didn't work. Needs Rosetta 2 to run but it wasn't packaged with the app.
