Certain websites not loading on iPhone 12 pro

Since purchasing the new iPhone 12 Pro, I have had issues where specific websites (ESPN.COM) do not load on safari. Has anyone else had this issue? When I clear my history it seems to correct the problem, but then just happen again in a day or two. Any insight into what could be causing this?

have spent hours with apple support have erased the phone twice and restored. Sorted all the above. The only thing that works is shutting off wifi and immediately turning it back on.

Go to Settings/Safari. Is Block all cookies turned on? If it is, turn it off.

Are you using a VPN connection? If you are, don’t.

When you erased the phone did you try to go to that site BEFORE you restored your backup?

What works for me now as I have the same issue is this : I go to my wifi setting shut it off and turn it on immediately and everything works. It is faster than shutting down the phone every time. I don't have to clear history although I do that frequently anyway. I have to access my mail and online calendar and google at times when I am with clients and it is annoying to have to pause but the wifi thing is at least fast. I hope it continues to work. Perhaps it will work for you, too.

Are you using a VPN connection? Have you set your Wi-Fi connection to Automatic, or are you manually entering the DNS settings? Does it happen on cellular data and Wi-Fi, or only one or the other?

Also, go to Settings/Safari. Do you have Block all cookies enabled?

I have the same problem. If I’m on Wifi ESPN.com will sometimes refuse to load in Safari. Once it starts happening the only way to fix it is to restart my phone or turn off WIFi and use my mobile plan. Realize it’s not a huge deal, but something is definitely wrong. Whenever this happens every other website works fine, so it has to be an ESPN issue.

So, I've (sort of) figured it out. It's the 5G not being all that great but it's really weird that it was just that one website for me. But as soon as I connected to wifi, it started working again.

I returned my phone and went back to samsung though so I'm hoping it'll be at least marginally better on my next phone ☺️

I have the same problem and spend hours checking out my phone with Apple Support - cleared it, reset twice, once from computer back up and once from iCloud. Problem returned. Thought it was wifi as it runs without stalling when I am only using cellular. Was going to take the phone back as my husband got his at the same time as I did and he hasn't had the same problem. Trouble is I need my phone and as it isn't a constant issue I don't want to send it in for repair. Perhaps an update will fix this problem. I certainly hope so. When it stalls I turn the wifi off and search again on cellular, Google responds immediately, I turn wifi back on and it works again.
