Bootcamp ***'t for windows with M1 chip
Is Bootcamp assistant/Windows supported with the new M1 chip? everything I read references the Intel chip. I need to partition for Windows.

Everything you read about requiring an Intel chip is correct.

This is not a straightforward path. Neither is ready and available. Any new versions that come out will have many bugs. If you need Windows for work-related endeavors, it is better to stick to an Intel Mac for at least 12-18 months.

Boot Camp requires a Mac with an Intel processor.
