I have my MacBook since May but I rarely use it and suddently in the screen appeared vertical and also horizontal lines. There are more lines today and the keeybord is not responding. And i do not understand why, no damage in the computer and any scratch. I will send to Apple but I am concerned that this happen again with not apparent reason. Hey there Marinapi,

We understand you're seeing vertical and horizontal lines on your MacBook Pro screen. The keyboard is also not responding. We'll be happy to help.

To troubleshoot this, we'd recommend completing an SMC reset and an NVRAM reset. Even though these steps require using the keyboard, it's possible the commands may still work. Reference the steps in the two links below.

How to reset the SMC of your Mac

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

However, if you still experience issues, having it inspected or contacting Apple Support would be the best path forward. You can do that using the next two links.

We hope this helps. Cheers!
