LG ultrafine and EDR values?

I would like to know whether the LG Ultrafine displays (4K and/or 5K) will support EDR values when attached to an M1 Mac Mini. I am talking about what is discussed here, here, and here.

My 2017 iMac does support these values (I tested it using the sample clips provided in that first link). I am considering buying an M1 Mac Mini and one of the LG displays, but this bit of info would help me know whether and by how much I would be downgrading in terms of display quality.

Update: I tried an LG Ultralight 4K with my 2017 27” iMac, and the LG does *not* do the EDR trick where the highlights in the HDR video shine more brightly than the baseline white of the interface.

(That’s not why I returned the LG, though. I returned it because it had horribly uneven color in the backlight—very noticeably greenish on one side and then a swath of pinkish across the middle. It’s amazing what they want you to put up with for $700.)
