Why does ejecting my iPad Pro 10.2 require for me to open up devices and printers and not automatically from the eject media menu on the taskbar on Windows 10?

I usually have chosen to physically disconnect my iPad Pro because it doesn't show up the taskbar menu on my Windows 10 desktop, but how can I get it to show up? I don't want to have an issue one day where it won't show up on my computer because I blew the USB port from just physically ejecting it. Is there an alternative so that I can still eject my iPad safely without leaving my desktop?

Windows, Windows 6
