Wifi on iPhone 8plus just started about 5 days ago losing contact everything else ie: laptop etc stays on

I have an iPhone 8plus that has just suddenly dropping the Wi-Fi I didn’t realize this till about two days ago and set it back up and I had so many things pop up but my laptop how’s the signal I have another phone that holds the signal why is my iPhone dropping the Wi-Fi I have to check it every five minutes and reinstate it
