question about security update on MacBook Pro

Will this security update (2020-005 10.13.6) install Big Sur on my MacBook Pro, or is that a separate download? I would like to avoid Big Sur for now, as there have been issues with it in my work place that would make it difficult for me to work at home. I currently have macOS High Sierra. Thanks

update from 11.4 to 11.6.1 Hello. Can I update from Big Sur 11.4 straight to 11.6.1? I didn't seen any updates in-between, but then I was looking via System Prefs rather than About this Mac. I'm keen to have the latest security.

Updating to MacOs Big Sur I have a few trusted third -part application installed on my Macbook air 2017, which has never caused any troubleshooting on my Mac, and I was wondering if it is advisable to update to macOs Big Sur and not lose those third part application or should I take a backup of those third-party application and then update to Big Sur. If anyone could guide and help me on this it is will be greatly appreciated. thankyou
