So I don’t know if the lines are from the software or actual phone problem? Is this common with the new 12 pro max ? The lines seem to appear in very low light. The older phones never performed like this.

I don't have any issues with mine.
What troubleshooting have you tried?
I actually ended up doing a software update and that seemed to have fixed the issue
