Hello, please could you tell me what pencil is compatible with the iPad mini 2?

For avoidance of doubt, iPad mini2 does not support Apple Pencil.

All models of iPad can be used with a commonly available Capacitive stylus, however, these provide no more capability or utility than your fingertip.

That iPad Mini 2 is too old to use ANY Apple Pencil.

It is not a software issue it is a hardware issue.

Older iPads made before late 2015 are missing a necessary internal screen hardware layer that is needed for an Apple Pencil to work and function.

With the exception of the 2017, 9.7 inch screen 5th gen iPad, all other iPad models made in late 2015 and later years support either the 1st or 2nd gen Apple Pencils.
