iMessage brings up weird addresses

When I start to type in a few letters to bring up an address for messages it brings it all these weird off the cuff addresses that are not in my contacts nor I ever received any messages from. How do I get rid of these?

How do I stop iMessages sending from my email address on my Mac? iMessage settings keep switching to send from email In Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, there is a setting called "You can receive iMessages to and reply from" which lists my email address and my phone number. The phone number keeps getting unchecked without me doing anything, so my contacts are receiving messages from my email address instead of my phone number. How can I stop this setting from constantly switching on me?

Hello, Mail>Window>Previous Recipients, highlight the ones you don't want & click the Remove from list button.
