accessory not supported message won’t dismiss!

My brother has an iPhone 11, and a message has popped up on his phone saying “accessory not supported”. But every time he clicks “dismiss” the message doesn’t go away, it just goes grey and the message remains! This has happened on his Lock Screen, so he can’t unlock his phone cos he can’t press anything other than “dismiss”. That means he can’t power it off either as he can’t use the slider! Currently he is waiting for his battery to die from 96%!!! Please help him lol

Ok it see you can’t use the slider.... so you will need to reset your phone by holding down both of the volume loud and quite and the power for 15 seconds

Hey Charliejamesbos! I think what you might have to do is to try an power off your phone by holding down the power for 10 seconds and then there should be a screen that pops up saying power off and you will need to slide the bar. Then after hold the power again for 10 seconds to turn it back on. If that doesn’t work then let me know!
