Hold your finger on it until a menu appears, then tap Remove App.

Deleting Facebook apps After deciding that I don't want to be on Facebook any longer I deleted my account. I have since tried deleting the Facebook apps from my iPhone 12 Pro but I am unsuccesful so far. I long press the app icon to get it in jiggly mode. But when I Press 'delete app' I only have the option to 'delete app from home screen or cancel'. I have tried going through the settings app to see if there was a way to delete the apps that way but no luck. It's for the Facebook and Messenger apps. Can anyone help me delete them?
