front flash not working iPhone x

Hello. I have the iPhone X and all of a sudden my front flash is not working when I’m taking pictures. The screen lights up like it’s going to work but the flash doesn’t come on. Anyone else having this issue or know how to correct it? Thank you.

As you may or may not know, the front flash is not actually a flash. It is a bright white front screen that reflects light off of your subject (you). If the screen gets white and bright for a fraction of a second then the "Front Flash" is working.

IF the above is NOT happening then-

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
