I've recently contacted apple support for the same issue... the only thing they advised is to have a screen replacement for 800EUR
disgusting, if this isn't fixed, it's the last apple product i will ever buy (being a lifelong customer)

protection for apple is to say : is not a program for 15 inches.. when the problem is the same. and wherever people can document this issue just measuring the cable and compare whit the new laptops on 2018 .. magical this cable is 3mm large .
Now Apple reacts as a bad, cheap and dirty corporation saying :
WE DONT HAVE A PROGRAM FOR YOUR LAPTOP 15' (factory defect)
or your apple care is over so we cant help you ..
its ok if apple was a tacos corner or a brothel but..
so he we are writing all this **** again.
SOLUTION PLEASE APPLE .. GET BIGGER NO ******
