I've used both Amazon and eBay in the past to source the batteries and the tools. I don't have a particular vendor within those sites to recommend. Read the reviews and check for plenty of genuine positive feedback.

I am going to go online and find a vendor that sells a kit that gives me all of what I need to fix it myself. My iPod is link to a medium that gives me better listening pleasure than a cloud connection where no internet connectivity exists.
Do you have a suggestion as which vendor out there provides a good and reliable service to work with to resolve my need to get the replacement, with the appropriate instruction and tools to fix it myself?

Cool. I've done several 5th & 6th gen. battery swaps myself. Not too difficult although the back case does cling on like a limpet!

Hi i used -
They seem to be very good.
Installed a SSD in my iPod classic for me.
Now it is a lot faster of course than it was originally.
