Apple Watch timer stops music

I don’t have a question just a answer that’s helps me out. My watch stopped my music during a critical set today and I was heated. So I went researching ways to stop it, I couldn’t find one. I’m using Powerbeats3 so this may not help everyone. I was able to disconnect my watch from my Powerbeats3 by going to the Bluetooth setting on the watch and disconnect the Powerbeats3. I tested it out and it works. The timer now just vibrates my watch instead of stopping my music. Hope this helps!
