Iphone XR will not force flash in the camera app. When I tap the flash icon no setting options appear. The only thing i can do is select flash on or no flash but the flash never works. this is for the rear camera. The flashlight does work fine. Any ideas?

Thanks for the response but in my case I was able to find a much simpler solution.
when in the camera app, at the very top center of the screen there is a ^ symbol. Once I press that symbol, a menu bar for flash options appears toward the bottom of the screen just above the large record / take picture button. That solved the problem 100%.
