I have the .99 iCloud

I have the .99 iCloud but I do not know how to configure the iPhone, iPad mini, and my MacBook Pro to hold the photos. How do I configure the settings?

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Correct settings for iPhone and iMac to store photos on the Cloud? I have a newer iPhone xs, and a newer iMac, have set up a iCloud account to store my pictures.
