Why my macbook air doesn't have the "Print In Colour Option"?

So, from the first day I got my macbook air I can't print it in colour casue everytime I wanted to print it doesn't have the option to choose from. My printer does print in colour using the Windows PC's. Could someone help me with this please.

We understand that you have some questions about color printing from your MacBook Air. As long as the box for Black & White is unchecked in the print options, your documents should print in color. If this isn't happening, we encourage you to work directly with your printer manufacturer. We have some more details in Choose advanced print settings on Mac
