I realised I hadn’t connected my watch to power and that was what was preventing me to update it. Thanks for all the help!!

I reset my Apple Watch and am trying to pair it again, however, I now have to update my Apple Watch. When I go to software update on the watch app it says that I am not connected to WiFi even though I am and won’t let me pair my watch.
