Keyboard typing haptic feedback not working

The haptic feedback stopped working on my 12 pro max the other day. No settings could resolve it. Completed setting restore followed by complete phone restore at the request of tech support, nothing. They are sending a new phone, but what makes this even weirder is haptic works for EVERYTHING else, just not tapping on the keyboard. Long press on the space bar, menu scrolling and such all general feedback, but not when actually typing. Couldn't find anything else like this in the forums, but wanted to document what I ran into.
