Apple Store location, typically, DO NOT repair iPads, but ONLY offer in/out of warranty replacement devices.

If this an older iPad Air, be peprared to pay for a replacement iPad of the same model purchased.

If this is a newer iPad Air with no pay, extended AppleCare+ warranty, be prepared to pay to a device replacement.

If this is 2019 or 2020 iPad Air with paid, extended AppleCare+ warranty, you will pay a small device replacement fee.

The free, standard, limited, one year AppleCare warranty ONLY covers manufacturing defects and NOT any type of incidental or accidental damages caused by the user.
