I have a new mac mini and while hooking up I connected my HDMI monitor to the HDMI portal but nothing is showing on the monitor. The pamphlet for the mac mini seems to indicate the Thunderbolt connection is for external displays.
Can I use my HDMI monitor and use the HDMI portal for that?
