Some new apps will not download on my iphone 6. My phone says it's up to date with iOS 12.6. Are there iOS updates I can't get on my iphone 6?

An iPhone 6 isn't capable of running 13 or above.
There isn't an iOS 12.6; an iPhone 6 should say that it's up to date with 12.4.9.
