How do I view in Powerpoint in Preview

Big Sur.

Spotlight broken.

Now preview as well?

I no longer see Preview in the context menu of PPTX files.

I can open with ... but Preview is not even amongst the 'recommended'

I can switch to all app and select Preview ... and preview warns me that the PPTX file is an unknown source (!!!)

It then shows fine ...

How do I set Bag Sur so that the context menu includes preview for PPTX files?

Thanks

Preview can open Office documents including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, though it is easier to use Quick Look on these, because Preview is not among the default applications that appear on the Finder's Open With sub-menu.

In that sub-menu, you must click Other… and on the subsequent applications folder panel, switch from Recommended Applicaitons to All Applications. Then you can select Preview, and it will open the Powerpoint presentation. There is an option to Always Open With on that panel too.
