There are almost no websites that require Flash anymore. Some users are under the incorrect assumption that Flash is needed to open PDF files. It is not. You don’t need Flash anymore, period. Same goes for the Windows world. Flash is dead worldwide.

Third party Adobe Flash has been replaced by HTML5 and requires no additional software.

Not suspicious. I was trying to use YouTube site to transfer YouTube song url to MPs to download into my iTunes library and it said i can’t until i update Adobe flash player. So maybe their site is is not updated or compatible with MacBook iOS
You don’t. Adobe has discontinued Flash. If a website has not transitioned their content to a newer, safer technology, the content of that site will not be viewable after December 31.

Any site using Flash today looks suspicious. Being extremely lazy aside, there is no reason to use Flash except to propagate malwares maybe.
