Renewed my phone

The touch sensor on my old iPhone 8 failed making access to various accounts a problem. A emergency touch sensor appeared on the screen with limited use. I decided to replace the phone rather than repair and purchased a iPhone Xr. After setup and transfer of data the emergency touch sensor widget appeared on screen. I can't find a means of disabling and removal of the annoying widget. Has anyone had the same issue and managed to rectify it.
