Incomming messages on the locked display

Hi. I transfered from Android to my first Iphone, and I have a question, which relates to incomming messages on the locked display.

When I receive message and my iphone is blocked, display “wakes up”.

Can I disable this option? I mean, I don’t want that display “wakes up” after receiveng message.

Android supports it and I hope to see this feature also in iPhone.

iPhone 12, iOS 14

Hi Holgar214,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Apple Support Communities.

Congratulations on your new iPhone! We see that you would like to not have notifications wake up your iPhone when it is locked.

We're glad to help.

There is an option to have your notifications not show up on your Lock Screen.

You can see how to enable this in the section called, " Manage notifications" in this article:

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Take Care.
