iPhone 12 Pro stuck in progress

I ordered my iPhone 12 pro at launch through AT&T. Was told by AT&T that something went wrong so I had to reorder a few days later on the 23rd. My shipping date was suppose to be around 11/10 then got pushed back to 11/20-11/27. That date came and gone and it got pushed back again to 12/20-12/27. Now AT&T is saying they don’t know when it will ship or if the order is lost again.


My question, is Apple shipping phones out in the time frame they saying at check out? Wanting to know if I need to stick it out and hopefully it eventually ships or cancel and order through Apple.
