apple is giving me a credit for my apple tv subscription and applying the credit to my apple id. how do i apply the credit to my apple credit card?

Whenever you purchase something from the iTunes Store or App Store, including subscriptions, any Apple ID balance is used first, before the primary payment method. This is automatic.
There is no need and no method to transfer balance elsewhere.
