Transferred new Iphone 12 Pro, can't send any messages or make any calls.

I just transferred my iPhone X over to my new iPhone 12 pro. Everything was transferred over, but my phone number is saying "verifying" in the settings. It won't let me make any phone calls or messages from my iPhone.

I transferred everything to my new account and now I can’t make calls or receive texts Why can’t I make calls or texts from my new phone? Did you move the SIM card from the old to the new?
